Hi, I’m Annette.
I’m a first-generation Afro Latinx masters-level professional in the field of psychology. As the Administrative Assistant at Pachamama Therapy Collective, my role is to provide you with high level support, assistance, and communication.
I’m passionate about representing and supporting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities in their mental health journey to give folks the keys to unlock their full potential and capability. I always look to pursue positivity and healing for all individuals utilizing my psychological knowledge and expertise.
If you’re looking for therapy that is rooted in social justice and representation, you’re in the right place. I look forward to connecting with you and helping you get connected with therapy.
MY JOURNEY
I knew I wanted to pursue the field of psychology since I was 13 years old. As I moved through my journey, I wanted to tear down the inequality and stigma that exists with receiving mental health treatment. While exploring my options in the field, I was exposed to the intersection between mental health, the criminal justice system, and marginalized communities.
When I earned my masters degree in Forensic Psychology, I was able to represent and connect with folks who look like me, and provide genuine concern and assistance. I seek to always give my hand to educate, stand up for mental health equality, and be compassionate to our communities.
